Pflouff

Pflouff is my Newfie girl. Well, I like to claim her, but she’s really Jay’s dog. She is SUCH a daddy’s girl!

I got her with thoughts of showing in conformation, competing in obedience and water work, and maybe even breeding. Those thoughts really didn’t last long, and I’m sorry about that. She’s a stellar girl who would be a lot of fun to train. Although she had calmed considerably by the time she turned two, she’s still quick to volunteer for any activity. I especially love having her as a playmate for River. She wrestles with him and runs him ragged and, unlike Pax, is willing to set boundaries on his behavior. I bet she would have been a good mom.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a ton of pictures of her. She pulled my camera onto a concrete floor and broke it right after we brought her home, and it took a long time for me to replace it. So we missed a lot of photo opportunities.

This is a picture from the night we brought her home, and it always cracks me up. She has such a suspcious, cranky look on her face.
